The Cranes..

The last couple of days has seen the beginning of the Crane migration. Thousands of these magnificent birds migrate north to their Swedish breeding grounds in late March and, if the winds have an easterly component, many drift across to Denmark. I arrived backin Copenhagen from a work trip to Brussels this afternoon and, shortly after I arrived home, I caught sight of a flock of 26 Common Cranes flying over Copenhagen town centre.. a real sign of Spring.
